GARY — No date has been set for a concert by R&B artist Chris Brown in Gary, a city spokeswoman said, despite listings on Internet ticket sites.
Brown’s originally scheduled concert this month at the Genesis Convention Center was canceled when the city suffered a power outage downtown.

LaLosa Burns, the city’s press secretary, said the Genesis Center is trying to negotiate a new date with Brown, but nothing has been set in stone.

“There’s no confirmation,” Burns said.
