Chris Brown to be interviewed on 20/20

NEW YORK – ABC says Chris Brown will appear on its “20/20″ newsmagazine Dec. 11.

In what’s billed as an in-depth interview, the singer will discuss his assault of ex-girlfriend and recording superstar Rihanna in February. He is on probation for the beating.

Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” conducts the interview. It was taped last weekend.

ABC spokesman Jeffrey Schneider says clips may also air on “Good Morning America.” He says Brown will not perform live.

Brown is scheduled to release his album “Graffiti” on Dec. 8. He has previously spoken about the attack on MTV News and “Larry King Live.”

Rihanna was interviewed this month by ABC’s Diane Sawyer.

Just days away from releasing his second full-length album, Chris Brown says, “I may not be dating cover girls now, but hopefully in the future, I will be.” We figured you’d probably want to hold on to that one, considering that Brown, well on his way to superstardom, will no doubt be laughing about it soon. The album, Exclusive, has a more ‘grown up’ sound, which it owes in part to guest spots from Kanye West, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, will.i.am, Big Boi and The Game, and, more significantly, to the thickening peach fuzz on Brown’s 18 year old chin.

Exclusive doesn’t hit shelves until November 6, but we’ve got it streaming in full, RIGHT NOW, only on The Leak. How about that?

Posted September 13, 2007 — If you thought last year’s show was unbeatable, then hold on to your seats because BET is back in “hotlanta” with veteran host actor/comedian Katt Williams, who is sure to deliver a high energy show filled with hot performances by the best in the business! The BET Hip Hop Awards 2007 will premiere on the network Wednesday, October 17 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).

Stomp The Yard is nominated for “Best Hip-Hop Movie”.

Other nominees in that category include “Gridiron Gang”, “Smokin’ Aces”, “Idlewild”, and “Shottas”. Tune in October 17th to see who wins.

The wait is ALMOST over! Tune in tomorrow night to catch the Video Music Awards 2007 on MTV, airing for ONE night only at 9pm on MTV. Chris is performing and he’s up for one nomination called “Best Choreography” (there’s no reason why he SHOULDN’T win that!) so this is something that you don’t want to miss. Tonight GQ magazine is hosting a pre-vma party at Jet Nightclub and Chris will be one of the many artists attending. Stay tuned to CBO for VMA coverage, before and after the main event!

Chris was on BET’s 106 & Park today. He didn’t perform, but they did speak to him a little about the album, and Chris stayed and hung out a little. If you missed it, you can catch it AGAIN, tomorrow at 11:00 AM EST. Also, he confirmed it, the next single will NOT be “Take You Down”, but it will be “Kiss Kiss” ft. T-Pain. So look out for the next single!
