Damaged and disgraced dancer-singer Chris Brown is demanding a trade from his current label over at Sony Music to Universal, which houses Cash Money/Young Money label, mediatakeout.com reports. They say that the two major labels are working out the particulars even as we speak.

Rihanna pictured leaving ‘Cipriani Downtown’ Restaurant while Chris Brown was pictured hiding inside his car after having dinner at ‘Via Dei Mille’ Restaurant right across street in West Broadway.
It has been reported that the two were hanging out in New York City this past weekend. And there are pictures of Chris leaving Rihanna’s hotel. Could this be true? Check them out:
Chris Brown spotted leaving Rihanna’s hotel in New York City today. Despite a restraining order and less than a week after Brown appeared on YouTube to make a public apology over the assault, it appears the two reunited over the weekend.
Does this mean he is performing?
After hearing the devastating news of Michael Jackson’s death, we went home to prepare to venture to the BET Awards in LA. Anticipating at least a video montage, we know that the BET team is most likely scrambling to include some sort of performance in the King of Pop’s honor. A thought crossed our minds that we found to be quite interesting. Who could really do an MJ tribute that does the world’s greatest entertainer justice? Chris Brown, of course.
However, with the perilous months that Brown has experienced, he is hardly in anyone’s good graces. Celeb or not. But, could a performance of monumental proportions begin to heal the wounds of disappointment and anger that our little golden boy administered in February. Think back to the 2007 World Music Awards where Brown performed an amazing rendition of MJ’s Thriller, along with impromptu performances at previous BET award shows that left us speechless.

Melbourne (ANI): A new survey has revealed that nearly half of teenagers believe that Barbadian singer Rihanna was responsible for the alleged beating singer Chris Brown gave her. The survey, conducted on 200 Boston teenagers by the Boston Public Health Commission, discovered that the alleged beating had caused quite a stir among the pop star’s teen fans, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The alleged attack on Rihanna has also inspired teenagers to post teen dating violence videos, warning people about the dangers and how to avoid them. It comes as Kanye West recently posted the final version of his song Paranoid, which Rihanna stars in the sinister video clip.

Yesterday Chris Brown was spotted in Hollywood going into a tattoo parlor, and apparently he wasn’t alone. The girl in the pictures has been reported to be his new girlfriend. Chris Brown x Bone Deep. All the blogs and news sources have been covering the fact that Chris is losing endorsement deals left and right, but now his check book is about to hurt even more as his once rising film career is now in serious trouble as well. Rumor has it that Sony Screen Gems, the studio that is releasing Chris’ next movie Bone Deep, is going to basically “erase” Chris from their marketing campaign.
The crime/action thriller which comes out Jan 8, 2010 was originally going to heavily market stars T.I. and Chris Brown to the urban demo but now T.I. will ironically be the main attraction (even though he’s going to jail) along with broader reaching actors Paul Walker and Hayden Christensen. Unofficial word has it that Chris will be “erased” from marketing material such as the movie poster, trailer and TV ads to avoid any controversy. The movie has already finished filming in Los Angeles so Chris will still be in the movie but just don’t expect to see much of him in the advertising.
Yeti says: This is bad news for Chris’ acting career. Being shunned from the music industry is one thing but Chris had a rising film career with his “boy next door” persona going on for him. If the rumors are true then he will lose millions in movie contracts from this fallout. The fact that he will be “erased” from this movie is just the first sign that Hollywood studios will be avoiding him like the plague as well. Chris’ agents and managers are hoping big time (and expensive) Hollywood PR man Alex Nierob can help save his career though…or what’s left of it.

The recent and unauthorized release of an LAPD photo of Rihanna after an alleged domestic encounter with fellow singer Chris Brown may have been enough to keep the incident from every seeing the inside of a courtroom. According to an LAPD source, Brown, even if guilty, may walk due to the leak of the photo.
“The most unfortunate aspect of the entire incident is not only the total disrespect for the victim, Rihanna, but the legal ramifications related to jury pool pollution the public revelation of this photo obviously has on the possible upcoming criminal case against alleged attacker, Chris Brown. “Brown, even if guilty, could walk free because of the unauthorized release of this photo.”
Gossip web site TMZ reportedly obtained the photo from an insider close to the investigation. The leak of the photo—which will likely lead to the termination of the person who released it—was obtained for $62,500.
American Idol winner Jordin Sparks recently revealed to the press that Chris Brown and Rihanna are indeed dating. The singer recently shot a video for “No Air”, her single with Chris Brown with Chris Brown and described how she felt with Rihanna watching the two on the set.
“Yeah, they are [dating]. It was really cool because I walked on the set and she was sitting there with Chris Brown and I was like I can’t believe she’s here. She came and she told me that she loved No Air, and that it was one of her favourite songs. It was really cool hearing that from one of my peers. She just wanted to support him.”
